B.Tech (Civil Engineering)

B.Tech (Civil Engineering) is a regular four-year undergraduate course offering technical education and professional training in civil engineering. In addition to the core subjects of civil engineering, the department offers elective subjects like AUTOCAD, STADPRO, environmental engineering, etc. The program has been designed to create highly skilled construction and project management professionals who can step forward towards planning, designing, estimation, execution and maintenance of structures.

The scope of Employment:

The activities of civil engineers provide them with opportunities in a variety of locations from city centres to remote construction sites. Employment opportunities are available in various states and central government and semi-government departments viz, P.W.D, Irrigation, Environment, Railway, Municipal or Local bodies, Corporation, etc. and private sectors like consultancy and construction firms.  There is ample opportunity for self-employment with a large outlay in the government sector and a matching outlay in private sector. There will be adequate employment opportunities for civil engineers for years to come as there is a consistent and continuous demand for civil engineers due to extension and development everywhere.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognised Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the four subjects:
(i) Chemistry
(ii) Computer Science/Information Science
(iii) Bio-technology
(iv) Biology
Admission to four-year B.Tech. courses are made on the basis of the merit of AIEEE & should have obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate of 03 subjects including Physics and Mathematics.

B.Tech (A three-year programme through the Lateral Engineering Entry Test)
The candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology course with the minimum duration of three years from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with at least 45% in aggregate of all semesters in any branch mentioned in the Admission Brochure issued by HSCS. The candidates who have passed B.Sc with Mathematics securing 45% marks are also eligible. 2. Character Certificate
3. 10th Passing Certificate and Mark sheet
4. 12th Passing Certificate and Mark sheet
For Admission through counselling
5. Copy of Allotment Letter Issued by HSCS
6. Proof of Deposition of Registration Fee (Rs. 500)
7. AIEEE Admit Card and Score Card
8. Proof of Residence in case of reserved category (SC, BC, ESM, GEN, etc.)
9. Students who belong to minority community must mention their category (Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Persian, Christian, Buddhist, etc.)
