B.Tech  (Electronics and Communication Engineering)

SCOPE OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

The prime aim of B.Tech  (Electronics and Communication Engineering) is to impart the basics of electronics and communication. Keeping in line with the national approach to innovations, the department of ECE empowers the students to reach out to billions of people and unending arena of technology, thereby meeting the challenges of globalisation. After doing engineering with ECE branch, students can deal with electronic devices, circuits, communication equipment like Transmitter, Receiver, Integrated Circuit (IC), etc. They are motivated to acquire a sound knowledge of the Analog and Digital Transmission, Reception of Data, Satellite Communication, Antenna and Wave Progression. The students learn about Microprocessors, Mother Boards, LED, LCD, etc. and various electronic devices in detail to create an impact on the society and economy of the world.

Program Educational Objectives:

  1. To provide an opportunity to the students to learn about Electronics and Communication in details and to understand the industry needs to pursue professional excellence.
  2. To train the students to work in a team with the spirit to produce results.
  3. To build and develop technical competence among the students to analyse, design, experiment, simulate and evaluate the system performance in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  4. To groom the students to become responsible citizens of the country by inculcating high moral and social values.
