1 1st To determine the COP and draw P-H & T-S diagram for compression refrigeration system
2 2nd To study the cut section model of reciprocating and rotary refrigerant compressor
3 3rd To determine the COP and capacity of an ice plant
4 4th To determine the COP of vapor absorption system.
5 5th To determine the COP of water cooler
6 6th To determine the thermal conductivity of an insulating power.
7 7th To find the Stefan-Boltzmann constant for thermal radiation
8 8th (i)To Plot temperature distribution along the pin fin under natural convective conditions and
compare with the theoretical temperature distribution along it.
(ii) To find the effectiveness of the pin fin.
9 9th  (i)To Plot temperature distribution along the pin fin under forced convective conditions and
compare with the theoretical temperature distribution along it.
(ii) To find the effectiveness of the pin fin.
10 10th To find overall heat transfer coefficient and effectiveness of a shell & tube heat exchange
under parallel and counter flow conditions.
11 11th To measure the emissivity of the gray body (plate) at a given temperature.
